Thank you for looking after us so well. All of your help was very much appreciated and made a good holiday a fantastic one for us. We had a great time fishing and have sent a few pictures of some of the 160+ Carp we caught. But there is more to Etang du Moulin than just good fishing. The beautiful scenery, the peace and the quiet, not to mention the fauna and flora and lots and lots of interesting birds and wildlife we saw, all added to the experience. The food was excellent, always intresting and varied and superbly cooked. In fact, better than many top class hotels we have stayed in. One day, on your recommendation, we visited the beaches and beautiful sea-side town of Cancale, which is only a short drive away. Fabulous place, with fresh sea-food at a great price. Whether a serious Carp fisherman, or a family holiday angler, Etang du Moulin is a must for everyone. Highly recommended.

Simon came on his own for a weeks peace, but the carp would not leave him alone, in the end he fished on only one rod as he was having several at the same time on the pod !!

Second time back this year for Sam & bill and again they both broke their PB's.

Returned for the third visit in four years!
Over 70 carp caught for a total weight in excess of 1,100lb, 3 X 30's with the best at 32lb 8oz falling to Jon.
Carp were caught on mainline baits fished over Jon's special spice groundbait mix.
We will be back soon for the Catfish !!!

Many thanks for a great time last week. We all enjoyed our holiday so much and can't wait to get back for two weeks next time to do battle with the carp again. We didn't get the barbel we wanted but we haven't given up on him yet, (maybe next time!!!) Please find attached a few pictures which I think show what a fantastic time we had.

The cold continues all week with frost in the morning, Dennis landed
nine fish in the first two days including a big 30, Marcel picked up
two 30's during the week, Marton could only find fish to 20lb.

Martin, Andy & Derek came in for the a long week end on the top lake, the sun shone but the fishing was slow.
Several smaller fish where taken but only Derek managed to find a thirty.

Gavin & Will's long weekend, lot's of carp action with Will taking a PB Common & Mirror at 23lb 12oz & 28lb 8oz, Gavin's best fish was a 29lb 8oz Mirror.

This was our fourth visit and as before we had a great week although only March we still had a good haul of fish with one at 33lb and one at 32lb !

Season 2009
Coventry Novices
What a great time we had, lost three big ones but we both have new PB's at 31.lb1oz, the same fish caught on different days !.
There are some really beautiful fish here in tip - top condition a real credit to the guys who run the place and of course all of the other anglers who have respected the fish in the past!
Paul, Anita, & Craig & sue are superb hosts, kind, helpfully& friendly, What more do you want !
We will be back next year to deal with the three escapees !!

"Party of two,first time at etang du Moulin, great week ! started of slow but picked up by Wednesday.
All sizes of fish, Dave beat his P.B with a 34lb Mirror and Joe beat his with a 19.8 Common, all carp caught
where in double figures.
Great food and drink, really warm welcome, can't wait to come back next year !.

Jon & Geof built on last years 600lb pound haul by netting over 800lb of carp this year, last year included five thirties with the biggest at 38lb, this year only one thirty showed.
most of the fish taken early in the week the action slowing down by Thursday, around 57 carp made up the total weight.

'Bonjour, arrived on 20th March. Weather cold but still had a 30lb Mirror Jack. Paul & Anita very helpful. Food, accomodation and atmosphere wonderful. Two really great Carp anglers on site to help you catch. Get packing. Get here. Get Baggin. Maybe well see you when we're back in the summer.

'A truly superb week. Five star hosts (Paul and Anita), meals fishing, accomodation and surroundings. We were all made to feel like part of the family. PB of 32lb Mirror Carp and stacks of bream up to 6.5lb.
